- Create Weldment Structure
- Use of Weld Bead Pierce Points, Gussets and End Caps
- Add Weld beads to Weldment structure
Weldment Design of Component-1
- Create framework using 3D or 2D Sketch
- Create the Structural Member
- Insert End Caps and Holes
Weldment Design of Component-2
- Create frameworks and Structural Member
- Add Groups
- Insert Gussets
- Apply color to components
Pre-requisite: User should be a Mechanical Engineer and should have completed SOLIDWORKS Part Design course. The recommended version for practice exercises is SOLIDWORKS 2019.
