- Understand the Boundary Boss/Base
- Design a component using Boundary Boss/Base command
- Use of combine and Thread options
Dress-up Features
- Understand types of curves
- Apply Fillet and Draft
- Create Composite curves
- Learn Helix and Spiral
Design of a Component
- Understand the design of industrial parts
- Create the basic Sketch and Part feature
- Insert Plane and Convert entities
- Use of Lofted Boss/Base command
- Apply Shell
- Mirror part features
- Use of Fillet and Chamfer
Pre-requisite: User should be a Mechanical Engineer and should have completed SOLIDWORKS Part Design course. The recommended version for practice exercises is SOLIDWORKS 2019 and above.
